IMAGEWORKS was established in 1985 and is today a Level 1 BBB-EE company owned by filmmaker Enos Masinamela. The company output has included major documentaries for international broadcasters such as National Geographic, SABC, MNet, BBC, Animal Planet, ZDF, Arte, Al Jazeera and Discovery Channel. We’ve produced over 1,000 shows for South African television.
Our corporate productions have included company profile and product videos for some of South Africa’s largest organisations, career advice videos, training courses, intranet communications, television adverts and interactive sales kits. We also produce giant-screen, interactive shows for science-centres, museums and large installations.
We have worked in most African countries south of the Equator, Senegal, Nigeria, Madagascar, USA, UK, Spain, Malta, New Zealand, Hong Kong and on St Helena Island.
We are a completely self-contained operation with our own 4K & HD video camera kits, 4K drones, photographic equipment, five AVID Media Composer edit suites, lighting, audio mixing facilities and equipment for the streaming of live events. Operating from premises near Lanseria Airport, we service the entire country.
